• FREE MINOR ADJUSTMENTS in addition to the usual 30-day service.  Part of our commitment to keeping your bike on the road is making sure it's ready to ride.  Often there are small adjustments that can be made very quickly, and your bike will work a whole lot better.  At Chain Reaction, we do those quick adjustments free, while you wait.  Minor brake or gear adjustment, maybe even a touch of wheel truing, and you're on your way.  The sort of thing that many shops would keep your bike for days for and charge quite a bit of money.  Why do we do this?  Because we want you to be out riding your bike, and because, when we're touching up your bike, you're buying stuff in the store (selfish motivations are the ones you can count on).  Do keep in mind that free minor adjustments are not tune-ups.  In theory, if you brought in your bike often enough for little things, you might keep your bike out of the shop for a very long time.  But when it does come in...

Or, at your own local bicycle shop!  It's their job to make sure you buy a bike that's appropriate for how you're going to ride, properly assembled, professionally fit, let you know about local riding opportunities and take care of anything that's not quite right.
