        Comments:

For almost a year I had riding on a $39.99 saddle and the comfort level was just barely tolerable. I went to David's World cycle in Casselberry and a beautiful and professional saleslady assisted me. After measuring my saddle size, we went over several $100.00 plus saddels and we selected the Bontrager Inform RL Saddle. The first 125 miles of use the saddle was similiar to my old $39.99 saddle, then I went back to the store and the saleslady adjusted my seat height upward about 1/4 of an inch. What a difference that made! The saddle no longer hurt me - it was comfortable and I was no longer experiencing any chafing. The saddle gave my Trek 2.3 bicycle a streamline look and actually improved my performance levels, since my major discomfort problem was gone. I am convinced that there is no such thing as a perfect saddle, but for the average cycling person, the Bontrager Inform RL saddle is a wonderful buy. I would have rated it 5 Stars - but that would have meant I have found the PERFECT SADDLE - and we all know that is still an elusive target. I would strongly recommend this saddle to any cyclist as an important upgrade who is experiencing discomfort with their saddle.

        Comments:

I picked up this saddle on the recomendation from the sales rep at David's World in Heathrow Florida. The Salesman spent plenty of time fitting me for the right width, and explaining the benefits...He warned that it would be a bit of a transition, and my sit bones would be sore for a while...he was right, about 100 miles and the soreness went away, now at about 700 miles It is one of the most comfortable saddles I have ever ridden on. There is no pressure, no numbness, no pinches, it is really amazing, once you get past the initial soreness it is really smooth, absorbs shock well and just gives an all around great ride.
