The Auger is Foundry's every day ‘cross bike. Rocks, roots, fire roads, gravel roads, wet grass, muddy hills and tight corners—it can handle it all. Fender mounts on the frame and fork increase the versatility of the Auger, meaning it’s as at home training and commuting as it is crossing the finish line.

Three slight variations in equipment, all amazing rides!

Fine print (why are they so inexpeinsive???): These are great bikes; Kevin, one of the partner's sons, rides one. We brought in Foundry thinking it would be good to have an alternative to Trek, our primary line. Unfortunately, Foundry didn't supply the marketing support for the line, and we under-estimated the draw Trek has for our customers. So, no more Foundrys in the near future for Chain Reaction. But these bikes will not be orphans; we will treat them just like we treat all bikes purchased from Chain Reaction, including free minor adjustments to gears, brakes & wheels for as long as you own it. Nor will there be any warranty issues; Foundry is owned by QBP, the largest parts supplier to the bicycle industry.
