Giro Xen

The world of all-mountain riding demands unwavering focus, so you can't be distracted by a helmet that doesn't fit right or moves around on the roughest trails. Giro's Xen, with its Wind Tunnel ventilation, feathery weight and secure Roc Loc 4 retention system, is perfect for every trail and every ride. Plus, the extended coverage in the rear of this lid delivers added safety when you dismount unexpectedly. And, the color-matched and adjustable P.O.V. visor provides excellent protection and visibility.

      Comments:

Great price on a TOL (top of line) lid. The XL I purchased fits my XL head perfectly. You can feel the "mechanicalness" of the rocloc when you put it on, I mean the act of actually putting it on your head, but once on, it's integrated man. I won't/can't testify to it's crashworthness other than to say that I use Giro stuf for snowboarding and actually had a clock-cleaning hit just last week (3-12-10) in the park that I rode away from (after picking myself up). Anyway, a very nice helmet IMO.

pretty much the best lid on the market, very light and excellent fit. great cooling with all the large vents. I really like the how the straps are on the actual shell of the helmet and don't drop down from interior of the helmet. simply put .. the BEST.
