The Bontrager Flare R is a game-changer for daytime visibility, something few tail lights have yet paid attention to. All USB rechargeable! You can tell from the photo just how awesome a setup this is; you can literally descend at speeds similar to daytime if you wish, but please be aware that deer can run into the road at any time, so caution is advised.

For not that much money, you can ride more safely in the daytime and take back the night. Rid anytime you need, or want to. Just be very careful about deer when it's dark, and be aware that the most-dangerous time to ride is twilight (when the sun is setting or rising), due to low contrast. Bascially, you blend in with the surroundings.
