Chain Reaction has confirmed the Carback can be charged while in use, for those doing double-centuries (or rides over 7 hours in general). An inexpensive 10,000mah phone backup, put in your seatbag, and a 1ft charging cord attached to your backup and you're good for 24-hours of ride time!

A great demonstration of the CARBACK's radar technology in the real world. The video is not a feature of the CARBACK (we're using a Garmin 715 with integrated camera in the rear, with a GoPro Hero9 up front), but the information recorded at the bottom of the video is all recorded to your bike computer's ride file. You can also view the car's speed, the difference between the car's speed and your speed, how far back the car is, and how many cars passed you on the ride. The app that gives you all that info in real time is "My Bike Radar Traffic" found in Garmin's IQ store. Works great with the Trek CARBACK!
