Trek Emonda S 6 Full Ultegra 56cm - LAST ONE! - 2015/2016
Details
Trek's Emonda S 6 is engineered by the masterminds of OCLV carbon. Light, strong, smooth, the Emonda went through years of prototypes and real-world riding from the fastest pros to deliver unmatched ride quality to us mortals. The geometry is tight and balanced, something you can feel on every ride. It begs you to go faster, farther. The frame starts the story, the components finish it. A full Ultegra group gives you perhaps the best value out there, light enough to race, durable enough to train on day in and day out. Whether you're doing all-day rides or sprinting for the line, the tubeless-ready Bontrager wheels never slow you down. To create a bike this good, Trek pushed the boundaries of design and manufacturing, now it's up to you to push yours.
For increased stiffness and improved steering precision, tapered head tubes (see image, on left) and forks pair an oversize lower steerer tube (usually 1 1/2-inch, see image, on right) with a standard diameter upper steerer tube (usually 1 1/8-inch). This combination sheds weight compared to straight 1 1/2-inch systems, and adds stability and stiffness when compared to straight 1 1/8-inch systems. The result is a bike that tracks better through corners while allowing for the use of standard stems.
